6 family members dead after devastating house fire in Wisconsin

Six people including three children perished in an early Sunday house fire, authorities in Wisconsin said.

A 911 caller reported the fire at the house on Morro’s Mile Road in Necedah telling the dispatchers that at least two people were trapped inside the residence.

Deputies later learned that six people were unaccounted for as firefighters battled the flames that engulfed the integrity of the home.

Juneau County authorities announced 12 hours later that six people died in the blaze.

    “The pain of losing six family members of one family cannot be described with words,” Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod President Mark Schroeder said.

    “The only thing that can begin to bring comfort in such a time of grievous loss are the words that God himself speaks to us.”

    The cause of the fire remains unclear.
