A lifeless body was found inside the trunk of a vehicle at a Mississippi car dealership late Monday morning, authorities said.
Jones County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene of an unidentified car dealership over reports of a deceased person.
There was no immediate information about the deceased person’s gender or age but police believe the finding is related to a missing person case.

Detectives said that the decedent might be 32-year-old Samantha Elisabeth McCowan.
The woman vanished after reportedly walking away from a crash scene after hitting a pole with her car.
“More than likely, it’s going to be her,” said Sheriff Joe Berlin.
