The search for a missing Las Vegas toddler came to a tragic end early Friday after her body was located in a dumpster.
23-year-old Diaja Smith, the boy’s mother, was arrested for open murder in connection to her death.

Police began looking for the 2-year-old boy at around 8:25 p.m. Thursday.
His body was found inside a garbage dumpster at 12:58 a.m. Authorities identified the victim as Jacoby Robinson Jr.
The child’s cause and manner of death remain under investigation by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
