Queens man found dead from self-inflicted gunshot in park after killing brother; wounding mom

A Queens man accused of killing his brother and injuring his mother was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head late Saturday.

The 33-year-old suspect got into an altercation with his 27-year-old brother inside their home in Richmond Hill around 10:30 p.m.

Police said that the dispute ended in a shooting that left the younger sibling dead.

    The siblings' mother, 52, was also shot in the torso. She was taken to Jamaica Hospital in stable condition.

    The suspect took off to 96th Street and 109th Avenue where officers located him deceased in Ozone Park.

    He died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head and a gun was found next to him.
