Surprise news, Arizona news.

The body of an Arizona man was found in the rubble of a home that caught fire during a SWAT standoff after he shot his baby son multiple times, police said.

Police in Surprise believe that 51-year-old Todd Christopher Marchetti shot himself in the head after repeatedly refusing to peacefully surrender.

The situation started at around 11:30 a.m. Friday when a woman called 911 to report that Marchetti had held her and her 6-month-old baby hostage at the home since 3 a.m.
