Two adults and a 6-year-old boy were killed in an Amtrak train crash in upstate New York late Friday.
North Tonawanda Police said that the victims were the occupants of a Dodge pickup truck that collided with a train shortly before 8 p.m.
They were identified as a 69-year-old man, a 66-year-old woman, and a 6-year-old boy.

Amtrak said in a release that no injuries were reported among the 21 passengers and crew of the train involved in the crash.
First responders from neighboring departments assisted the North Tonawanda Fire Department at the scene and helped remove the trapped victims from the wrecked truck.
The cause of the crash remains under ongoing investigation.
