3 killed, 3 wounded in shooting in Columbus’ Italian Village neighborhood

Three people were killed and three others wounded in an early Saturday morning shooting in the Italian Village neighborhood of Columbus, authorities in Ohio said.

Officers responded to a “very chaotic scene” just before 3 a.m. Saturday to find that six people have been shot, three fatally, just north of downtown Columbus.

The slain victims were identified as Malachi Pee, 27, Garcia Dixon Jr., 26, and Daondre Bullock, 18.

    Witnesses heard what appeared to be semi-automatic gunfire and sounds of vehicles leaving the scene.

    It remains unclear whether any of those involved in the deadly shooting were patrons at a nearby bar.

    No suspects have been identified and the incident is still under investigation.
