A suspected killer of a South Carolina woman was arrested 100 miles away after he allegedly fatally shot the victim as she arrived at her job Friday morning.

Katy Brooke Jones, 36, was shot inside her car at around 6:45 a.m. as she arrived at her workplace in NRTC Automation in Piedmont, South Carolina.

Detectives believe 33-year-old Derek Snyder approached the victim’s car and shot her several times before taking off.
