The body of an elderly woman was found stuffed inside a garbage bag in a luxury Bronx apartment Thursday, the NYPD said.
The 70-year-old unidentified victim was found by officers called to the building on Grand Concourse near E. 140th Street in Mott Haven shortly after 1:45 p.m.

Officers pronounced the woman dead at the scene. Her cause and manner of death are under investigation.
Four people of interest were arrested following the grisly discovery but charges were not immediately filed.
The incident came days after a similar murder of a 52-year-old woman whose body was found stuffed in a duffel bag in her Manhattan apartment.
