Flint news, Michigan news.

A Michigan mother-of-seven was found dead on the bank of the Flint River after her toes were spotted sticking out of a trash bag by a fisherman earlier this month.

Christopher Astin Motry, a 34-year-old married man, was charged with the murder of Christina Elizabeth Barber, his coworker with whom he had an affair.

Barber had rented a room at the Flint motel where officers found bloodied sheets, a comforter, and a mattress.

Surveillance footage from the motel showed her and Motry arriving at the motel on Feb. 28.

Barber’s coworkers at Burger King requested a wellness check on her after she did not show up for work for a week.

They described Motry as a violent person. The couple’s relationship was reportedly tumultuous.

“I miss you dearly and I will for the rest of my life!” Barber’s daughter said on Facebook.

“I’m just glad you’re not hurting no more. Keep resting pretty girl!”
