A 33-year-old Wisconsin woman was found unresponsive inside a car where her toddler son was unharmed following a crash on Tuesday.

Police deemed Ashley Calo’s death as “suspicious” and linked to another incident after she was found dead inside the car that crashed near West Follett and Main Streets.

“We came out to kind of look at it and investigate, and by then the vehicle had already stopped on top of the brush and was at a standstill,” a witness recalled.

“She had the most infectious smile,” a friend of the victim said. “She would brighten anyone’s day. It doesn’t matter.”

“She loved her son more than anything. He loved her more than anything.”
