Ohio mom charged after 4-year-old found driving car with younger sibling

An Ohio mother was charged after officers found her 4-year-old child driving a car with a 2-year-old sibling inside it Sunday.

Theresa Smith, 23, was charged with two counts of endangering children after the Cincinnati Police officers were called to a “domestic incident” on a Winton Road parking lot at around 10 p.m.

  • Two children were found unattended inside the Honda Accord, police said. The 4-year-old was sitting behind the wheel driving the vehicle back and forth in a parking space.

    A two-year-old was also inside the car when officers arrived and stopped the car.

    Smith was arrested and booked into the Hamilton County jail on a $10,000 bond.
