Toddler, 2, killed in crash after being ejected on Kentucky interstate

A 2-year-old toddler died early Thursday after being ejected from a compact SUV on Interstate 75.

The child was ejected from a GEO Tracker at around 1 a.m. when it was hit by a Ford Edge operated by an intoxicated driver.

The baby died at the scene. The female driver of the Tracker, 25-year-old Alexis Brianna L. Flores was trapped in the wreck and sustained serious wounds.

    Alcohol was a contributing factor in the deadly crash and occupants of the Ford Edge will be charged.

    33-year-old Matthew P. Croley and 22-year-old Jayna Ann Vorwerk are facing a litany of charges including murder and operating a motor vehicle under the influence.
