Homeless teen, 15, arrested for stabbing two people killing one in Manhattan

A 15-year-old homeless boy was taken into custody Saturday after he allegedly stabbed two men, killing one, in a Manhattan park.

The juvenile suspect is accused of stabbing two young men, aged 24 and 25 years old, during an altercation in Sara D. Roosevelt Park on the Lower East Side late Thursday evening.

  • The deceased victim was identified as 25-year-old Pasquale Alonso. Police said he was stabbed in the chest and died at the scene.

    Authorities listed the second victim in stable condition adding that he was stabbed in the torso.

    The suspect was charged with murder, attempted murder attempted assault, and assault in connection with the incident.
