The family of a 36-year-old daredevil skydiver is mourning his tragic death after he was killed in a diving accident in Texas last week.
Jacob Glenn Todd’s parachute failed to open causing his death on October 15 while he performed his hundredth dive of the year.
“Most important to Jake was being an extremely loving father to his daughter, Jeune. Together, they loved to go on adventures like rock hunting, going to theme parks, and sky diving,” a GoFundMe page started for the skydiver’s family read.
Todd’s father Dave described him as his best friend who had a “zest for life.”
“Jake completely embraced the Colorado spirit, and I’m going to miss him, but I’m really proud of him.”
“I fully intend to make sure through his daughter and the rest of my children we’re going to keep that legacy alive.”
