After a massive search for a crashed plane, authorities announced early Thursday that the bodies of an instructor pilot and his student were found in Ohio County, Kentucky.
The pair’s small plane went missing during a thunderstorm while en route to Owensboro from Bowling Green on Wednesday.

The Federal Aviation Administration and the Kentucky State Police are investigating the incident. The victims’ identities were not disclosed.
