A group of masked intruders including a woman broke into a Jackson, Mississippi home late Wednesday and killed a man before kidnapping a baby, authorities said.
The 42-year-old victim was shot to death inside his home on Jayne Avenue and Willaman Street at around 9:30 p.m., authorities said.
Four masked suspects including a 23-year-old woman kicked the home’s door down, killed the man, and kidnapped the 10-month-old baby at gunpoint.
Police said that the female suspect, identified as Jazmyn Johnson, was located at an area gas station with the baby and taken to custody.
The child was not harmed, authorities said. Authorities are looking for the three male suspects who remain at large.
Johnson was charged with capital murder, armed robbery, and kidnapping among other counts.
