Lifeless body found lying on Glendale road prompts hit-and-run investigation

Authorities in Glendale, Arizona are investigating a possible hit-and-run crash after finding the lifeless body of a man lying in the middle of the road on Sunday.

Officers responded to reports of an unconscious man lying in the roadway area of Camelback Road and 75th Avenue at around 5:30 a.m.

    A hit-and-run investigation was immediately launched as authorities work to identify the victim and notify his family.

    Police said that Camelback Road will be temporarily closed from 67th to 75th avenues as the crime scene is being processed.
