An Illinois man is dead after he was found with multiple gunshot wounds to the chest early Saturday morning.
Witnesses told deputies that the shooting occurred amid a fight at a house party in the 1100 block of Coyote Run in Bourbonnais at about 4:30 a.m.
23-year-old Michael Godinez was fatally shot during the fight. He died at an area hospital, Kankakee County authorities said.

Investigators are now questioning partygoers in an effort to name suspects in the case.
The shooting was considered an isolated incident and there was no immediate threat to the community.
