A middle school student is dead after an ATV crash in Lauderdale County, Mississippi.
First responders rushed to the scene Monday afternoon after a relative of the 11-year-old boy found him unresponsive off the road and called 911.
The victim, identifies as Carter B. Fisher, was involved in an ATV crash. He died at an area hospital shortly after the accident.

“This was a horrible day for everyone involved,” Chief Deputy Ward Calhoun said.
“The victim's family, the Southeast community, and all of those who were first responders are in our prayers.”
Carter was reportedly a student at Southeast Lauderdale Middle School.
