2 NYC men arrested for killing relative; concealing body

Months after they allegedly slaughtered a 44-year-old family member, two Brooklyn men were arrested and charged with the gruesome slaying.

Martin Wright's death occurred on Jan. 28, according to police who learned about his murder on February 7 through a 27-year-old woman who came forward and showed up at the 81st Precinct station house in Bedford-Stuyvesant to report the crime.

Authorities said that Wright died from an apparent head injury at the hands of McMillian Wright, his relative.

  • The 45-year-old suspect then called another relative, Craig Smith, asking him to help remove Martin's body from the apartment.

    Smith dropped the body at an unknown location. His remains were later found after the woman's confession.

    Smith was arrested on April 13 and charged with concealment of a human corpse and tampering with evidence.

    On Thursday, McMillian Wright was busted on murder and related charges.
