Pheonix news, Arizona news.

A Pheonix father was charged in connection with the drowning of his 7-month-old son Tuesday.

Prosecutors said that 37-year-old Sione Kafokuota Pulotu called 911 to report discovering his infant son dead with his face down in the bathtub.

The boy was declared brain dead at the hospital, police said. Puloto admitted to placing the child in an infant bathtub and filling it with water until it reached the child's chest.
