New York City news, New York news.

A Brooklyn man is dead and another is behind bars after a gruesome attack stemming from a jealousy rage Thursday.

Police said that 47-year-old Dmytro Lapko lost his mind when he spotted his ex-wife with her new boyfriend, identified as 42-year-old Levan Galdava, in a parking lot in Sheepshead at around 9 p.m.

The ex-husband attacked Galdava with a machete, leaving his teeth scattered on the ground before shooting him at least six times, police and witnesses said.
