Two Kentucky women busted for leaving toddler to drown in hot tub while they got high on meth

The mother of a 14-month-old child and another woman were charged with leaving the baby unattended while they did drugs leading to his death last month.

Monica and Erica Goodwin admitted that they went upstairs on November 16 to get high on meth leaving the toddler alone downstairs.

    Deputies seized drug paraphernalia in a bedroom. The women were subsequently arrested and charged with manslaughter.

    They were booked into the Clark County Detention Center with bonds set at $50,000. The Clark County Sheriff’s office said that the incident is still being investigated.
