3 girl scouts killed in crash after mom driving van attempted U-turn on busy Kansas highway

Authorities in Kansas said that three young Kentucky girl scouts were tragically killed in a crash on their way to a girl scout event early Saturday morning.

Victims Kylie Lunn, and Laila El Azri, both 9 years old, and 8-year-old Brooklyn Peery succumbed to the injuries they sustained when Peery’s mom, who was behind the wheel attempted a U-turn, drove through a barrier wall and got slammed by a semi-tractor trailer.

    “I honestly don’t know how I’m going to keep going without you, but I know I have to and everything I do will be with a purpose for you,” Amber Peery wrote on Facebook.

    “Mommy loves you so much sweet girl and all I want is to be able to hold you in my arms again.”
