A Louisiana teen was killed in a horror firehouse early on Friday while she babysat her younger brothers who also perished in the blaze.
Yusra Badra, 15, Ali Aysheh, 7, and Mohmmah Aysheh, 2, died Friday at around 9:30 a.m. when flames ravaged their Gretna, Louisiana home.
Police said that the girl was babysitting her brothers at the time of the tragic incident while both parents were at work.
Relatives of the children said that their mother was just “inconsolable” over their deaths.
“I hope God be with them. The mother, they said she’s fainting,” one said.
Jefferson Parish Sheriff Joe Lopinto told reporters that the cause of the fire remains unclear.
“When we got here it was really engulfed in flames. I don’t really have any answers on the cause of the fire yet. Really sad situation.”
