Deadly car collision sparks massive fireball in Alamance County; Man, mom and 7-week-old killed

A seven-week-old baby, a young mom, and a 43-year-old man were identified as the victims of a tragic car collision that took place in Alamance County, North Carolina Wednesday.

Graham Police Department said that at around 9:15 p.m., an SUV smashed into a Ford pickup truck sparking a massive fireball.

  • Authorities said that it was “apparent that one of the vehicles crossed left of center into the path of the other” as they traveled in opposite directions.

    The 23-year-old woman and her newborn died instantly while the driver of the pickup truck was rushed to a hospital where he passed away.
