A local morning news anchor in Wisconsin passed away Saturday at the age of 27 in an apparent suicide.
News of WAOW’ Neena Pacholke died suddenly, leaving all who knew her in disbelief.
“She was just like a little ball of sunshine, and her smile was massive,” the anchor’s grieving sister said.
“My sister was by far the happiest person I thought I knew.”
Pacholke was engaged at the time of her suicide and her latest tweets talked about positivity which added to her colleagues’’ shock.
“I have never met anyone in my entire life that is more loved than this girl,” co-anchor Brendan Mackey said.
“Every day she made people smile, whether that was through a tv screen or just being an incredible friend. She was so happy and so full of life and a role model.”
