A Michigan girl tragically died in a boating accident on Lake Michindoh while participating at a Christian camp with her pals.
The victim and 13 other passengers were riding a banana-boat pulled by a speedboat, authorities said.

After the trip, the lifeguard circled around to pick up the children but hit the girl who was invisible in the water.
“The man operating the boat immediately jumped into the water to help the child” but “she succumbed to her injuries” and was declared dead at a nearby hospital.
Investigators said that all passengers of the boat were wearing life jackets and helmets and the operator was a certificated boater. Alcohol and drugs were not involved in the tragic crash.
