3 female victims killed in DWI crash after attending Sweet 16 party

The Nassau County Sheriff’s Office said Sunday that a crash involving a drunk driver claimed the lives of three women who had just attended a Sweet 16 party.

Dante Lennon, 22, was reportedly drunk while behind the wheel of a Mercedes-Benz sedan when it rammed into a Lincoln Town Car carrying six people on the Jericho Turnpike shortly after 11 p.m.

    “Very disturbing, never seen that ever in my life. Why would that happen? I just can’t believe,” an eyewitness said.

    Lennon was hospitalized for minor injuries and charged with DWI and vehicular manslaughter.
