Staten Island news, New York news.

Workers cleaning an unoccupied hoarder’s room in Staten Island stumbled upon a badly decomposed body wrapped in a blanket Tuesday.

“Upon arrival, officers observed an individual lying unconscious and unresponsive inside the location,” the NYPD said in a statement.

The human remains were hidden under a mess of debris; it was impossible for detectives at the scene to determine who the person was or how they died.
