Severe tornado weather ripped through the Texas and Louisiana region overnight damaging power lines and causing massive outages to at least 102,000 customers.
The states of Texas, Louisiana, Iowa, and Minnesota were some of the regions listed under a tornado watch on Tuesday as the National Weather Service predicted an extreme system that would affect 45 million Americans overnight.
At least six tornados were reported in Arkansas on Monday night while Texas and Iowa saw eight tornados hit their towns Tuesday.
Authorities warned of more tornadoes on Wednesday from Indiana to Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi.
A tornado watch was still effective in portions of Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, and southern Illinois through Wednesday.
