Minnesota news, US news.

A tornado threat was issued Wednesday for Iowa, Wisconsin, and Minnesota as a severe storm system heads toward the Midwest placing 29 states on alert.

The forecast is unprecedented for Minnesota that was never hit by a tornado in December before and is now preparing for heavy snow and strong winds that may trigger avalanches.

Same weather conditions are expected for Kentucky that is still reeling from last week’s twisters, Tennessee and Arkansas.
