NYPD releases surveillance images of homeless man who stabbed mom-of-2 to death because she approached his tent

The New York Police Department has released photos of a suspected homeless assailant who fatally stabbed a mom-of-two because she approached his tent.

The photos show the suspect strolling down a street after stabbing 32-year-old Lizseh Casserly in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

  • Casserly, who worked as a pharmacy technician, had just left a birthday party last month when she stood with a friend next to the suspect’s encampment.

    She was stabbed in the chest and neck while her friend survived stab wounds to the back.

    Police described the suspect as a Black man, around 35 or 40 years old. They’ve urged anyone with information about his identity or whereabouts to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
