Palm Beach news, Florida news.

Florida authorities said that they have identified and arrested a suspect in the mysterious death of a 14-year-old high school freshman who was found lifeless near I-95 on Nov. 16.

Investigators said that Ryan Rogers was stabbed to death by a complete stranger when he left his home for a bike ride. The suspect was identified as 39-year-old Semmie Lee William, a “homeless drifter” with evident mental disorders and an extensive rap sheet.

“It appears to be a completely random act” with no motives, Police Chief Clinton Shannon said. “I would best describe it as an innocent child victim having a chance encounter with a very violent criminal.”

Detectives were able to connect William to Rogers’s murder through the suspect’s YouTube videos that are mostly disturbing and conspiracy-filled.

“Police they hit me with electric weapons to give me cancer,” William said in one clip. “They have chips planted all over my body right and they reading my mind through my ears and they be tearing up my shoes.”
