Florida athlete, 14, was homicide victim after he left home to ride bike

Investigators said that the mysterious death of a Palm Beach teen was the result of homicide after his body was found Tuesday morning.

14-year-old Ryan Rogers went missing Monday at around 6:30 p.m. after he left his Palm Beach Gardens home on his bike.

His body and bicycle were discovered the following morning at 9 a.m. on a sidewalk at the overpass of the Intestate 95.

    Rogers was a beloved soccer player and a freshman at William T. Dyer Community High School. He had even started refereeing shortly before his death.
