Oxford news, Michigan news.

The terror of the Oxford High School mass shooting is still weighing on Michigan schools with several districts announcing the cancellation of classes for the remainder of this week.

It was the case in Oakland County, Metro Detroit, and Southfield School Districts after reports of threats and disturbing social media emerged adding to the Tuesday massacre’s shock.

“There have been rumors circulating on social media indicating that other high schools may be at risk of experiencing a tragedy similar to the one that occurred recently at Oxford High School,” Rochester Schools said in a statement.

“At Rochester Community Schools, we take all threats very seriously.”
