Washington news, US news.

Fox News’ commentator Lara Logan was largely condemned for remarks she made against the US Top Infectious Disease Expert Dr. Anthony Fauci, comparing him to the ill-famed Nazi doctor Josef Mengele, who conducted agonizing experiments on Holocaust prisoners.

Logan’s controversial statements came in response to host Pete Hegseth’s criticism of the Biden administration that is “overhyping” the new omicron Covid strain during a Monday night debate.

“What you see on Dr. Fauci – this is what people say to me, that he doesn’t represent science, he represents Josef Mengele,” she said.

Following Logan’s comments, The Auschwitz Museum issued a condemning release without citing her name.

“Exploiting the tragedy of people who became victims of criminal pseudo-medical experiments in Auschwitz in a debate about vaccines, pandemic and people who fight for saving human lives is shameful. It is disrespectful to victims & a sad symptom of moral and intellectual decline.”
