Chicago boy, 3, falls to death from 17th-floor apartment window

Chicago Police are investigating a tragic fall that claimed the life of a 3-year-old boy who landed in bushes after leaping from a window late Tuesday night.

The toddler had apparently tried to push out a window screen in his family’s 17th-floor apartment before he fell into bushes outside the residential building and right below the window at around 10:40 p.m.

    Police said that the death is being probed as accidental. They said that the toddler was not alone at home when the tragedy took place.
