The NYPD is investigating whether the decomposing bodies of a man and woman were the result of a murder-suicide incident after responding to a neighbor’s welfare check request on Saturday.

The downstairs neighbor called 911 after spotting maggots falling from the ceiling. When officers arrived at the 2390 Creston Avenue apartment, they made the gruesome discovery.
