Phoenix authorities are urging witnesses with possible information about a deadly shooting that claimed a woman’s life to step forward and help in the investigation.
Cleopatra Morton was gunned down on October 13 as she waited for the bus in west Phoenix.
The shooting took place at around 10 p.m. and Morton was immediately pronounced dead at the scene. There was no arrest made in connection with the incident.

“Someone took her life for no apparent reason,” the 45-year-old’s ex-husband said.
“She always made us laugh. That is what I will miss most about her,” the victim’s stepson said.
