An Indiana couple has been charged in connection with the death of their 4-year-old son earlier this month after he was found beaten to death and covered in a blanket.
On Oct. 11, deputies responding to reports of an unconscious child found Judah Morgan dead from blunt force trauma to his head with three children present at the scene.
The boy’s father, Alan Morgan was arrested following a manhunt, and his mother Mary Yoder admitted after her arrest that Morgan was torturing the kid in the basement.
Yoder added that “she was aware of what Alan was doing to Judah, however, she said she was afraid of Alan and could not stop him.”
The mom said that she last saw the child On Oct 9 in the basement “which was when she left the house on her way to the hospital to give birth.”
Both parents were booked into LaPorte County Jail on murder, neglect of a dependent, and animal cruelty charges.
