Illinois mother arrested after remains of newborn found in bucket at spare home

Illinois authorities have arrested a mother after finding the remains of her slain newborn daughter hid in a bucket back in June.

Kristin Alley Larson, 35, was charged with first-degree murder and concealment of the homicidal death of her newborn, Baby Larson.

    “During their search, the detectives located the remains of a female newborn infant that had been deceased a few days,” prosecutors said adding that the baby girl was born alive.

    The baby’s remains were “in a bucket which had been placed in one of the home’s spare rooms.” Authorities did not immediately give an official manner of death.
