120-pound pitbull mauls mom of two to death while she cared for it: ‘It was a pretty bad scene’

A large pitbull has mauled a 42-year-old Oregon mom to death while she took care of it during its owner’s absence.

On September 24, Amber LaBelle died at a local hospital after sustaining mortal wounds amid during a mauling incident involving a 120-pound mutt.

‘It was a pretty bad scene,” a neighbor recalled. “We had another neighbor holding a dog back, a pretty big dog, and I just ran past the dog and ran straight to Amber. She was unresponsive at the time.”

    “One thing that I would want people to know is the very last thing she did on this Earth was save the lives of her children,” LaBelle’s ex Josef Dieckman said.

    “I will be eternally grateful for that.”
