St. Louis news, Missouri news.

A 58-year-old Missouri inmate had passed away Sunday behind the bars of a federal Springfield jail.

The death of Robert Bolden Sr. appears to be from natural causes as court records revealed he suffered from diabetes, kidney failure, and was on dialysis.

Bolden was sentenced to death for the 2002 murder of Nathan Ley, a Bank of America security guard, amid a botched robbery.
