A 58-year-old man was indicted on murder and larceny charges after his arrest in Virginia in connection with a gruesome Massachusetts murder case.
Christopher Tetreault had reportedly told several people that he stabbed 54-year-old, Paul T. Weaver, to death in a storage locker last month and that he “didn’t need to worry about Paul anymore.”
“Weaver was found inside his storage locker at 15 Beach St., Milford on August 17. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner performed an autopsy and determined Mr. Weaver died of multiple stab wounds and ruled the death a homicide,” prosecutors said.
When Weaver’s body was discovered, he was “in advanced stages of decomposition.”
A witness told detectives that Tetreault showed up on the murder’s day at the victim’s storage unit, grabbed a knife, and started searching for him.
He returned later with sweat all over his face and confessed to stabbing Weaver in the neck and face.
