Maryland father, who killed son at foster home, stands trial for gruesome murder of daughter found decapitated in dumpster

The trial of a Baltimore man with an extremely violent history kicked off this week over the atrocious murder of his daughter found without head, hands, and feet in a dumpster.

Malik Samartaney, a 68-year-old Marine veteran, left 45-year-old Dominique Foster “like trash” in a dumpster near his home in May 2019, prosecutors alleged.

    Prosecutors said that the siblings are among a list of several relatives of Samartaney who died mysteriously including the children’s mom, a friend, his girlfriend’s young daughter, and her baby.

    Samartaney is currently serving two 20-year sentences concurrently after pleading guilty to his friend’s murder and no contest to his son’s.
