A Kentucky man has murdered a woman, wrapped her in a sleeping bag, and left the body in his truck outside his home.
29-year-old Denny Christopher Rumfelt arrived home all bloodied to tell relatives that he slaughtered a woman prompting relatives to call the police.
The unidentified victim was found wrapped into a multi-colored sleeping bag in the front of the truck.
She had duct tape around the mouth and eyes. The same duct tape was also used by the suspect to cover a cut in his arm.
Police said that Rumfelt had blood on his clothes and ears. His bloody left sleeve was rolled up and cuffed above the elbow.
A motive for the crime was not immediately revealed. Rumfelt reportedly surrendered after police arrived at the scene. He is currently being held without bond at the Meade County Detention Center.
