Suicidal wrestling star found dead from self-inflicted gunshot wound after posting about ‘feeling all alone’

Former wrestling star Shannon Spruill died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest at her Norcross home, Georgia Police confirmed.

The 46-year-old’s mother had called 911 and requested a welfare check after she posted an Instagram Live holding a gun Wednesday.

    Known in the ring as Daffney Unger, the former World Championship Wrestling and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling star was struggling with mental issues during the last few weeks.

    “With her signature scream and ever-changing style, Daffney would go on to become a mainstay of the independent scene for more than two decades,” the WWE said in a statement.
