Tesla driver plows car into Florida house killing resident & passenger; 3 critical

Florida authorities said Friday that a Tesla driver plowed his car into a Palm Harbor house killing a resident and a passenger.

The crash occurred at around 10:30 p.m. Friday at the 1498 Caird Way in Palm Harbor, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

    A passenger, identified only as a 43-year-old Odessa man, died at a local hospital. The driver and two other passengers aged 28 and 48 were listed in critical condition.

    Investigators said that the Tesla Model S Plaid was not on autopilot mode when the accident occurred
